Happy 71st Birthday yesterday to my beautiful Mam ❤️ Our family threw a surprise party for my Mam yesterday in Carlisle at the @andalusianbarandbistro and she absolutely loved it. There were family and fiends she hadn’t seen for a while and she was a bit shocked by it all I think. The amazing Mark and Ian aka @shboomofficial were incredible performing a load of classic songs and they got everyone up dancing. My Mam is a beautiful, strong, kind, independent, energetic, youthful, crazy, hardworking, funny, quirky lady with a zest for life and has seen everything it can offer and throw at her. She still works 12 hr night shifts at the hospital and never stops to rest! Had covid twice the past 12 months also. We have to appreciate each moment with our loved ones in this crazy world as time passes by so quickly. We love you Mam ❤️x

Did anyone buy the VHS video cassette of Night To Remember which had interviews with us on it? 🎵 The Night To Remember video was filmed through the night in a bus depot in Walthamstow, East London. The shot of me sat singing to camera was filmed about 4am, I was wrecked! We put a request out on Capital FM for a saxophone player and a guy who was a London cabbie turned up at the depot in his cab with his saxophone and that’s him in the video 🤣 We had to beg, borrow and steel to make things happen at the beginning. 🎤 The video shoot cost about £4-5k. Everything was on a shoe string but we always all pulled it together.

We salute you our Queens ❤️ To my beautiful Mam, a strong independent woman who has so much energy, works very hard and never stops. Absolutely nothing will ever get in the way of my Mam getting her 10k steps in every day (apart from if she’s having a vodka night in!) to keep her fit and healthy. She loves socialising with her girl friends at lunch and loves to travel, she lives life! A fun and cheeky personality and a bit random like me, which I love ha! A caring heart who always wants to help people, and is the most authentic person I know, always be you. We love you and appreciate you ❤️
